Today we’re celebrating fall with flannel shirts, farmers’ hats and fall colors. Human Resources also surprised staff members by handing out Whoopie Pies!

It’s hard to believe how close we are to finishing the SPACE Project. This coming week we will be receiving the furniture for the quad rooms and moving  residents into the first 2 renovated rooms!  We will also be moving into the new dining room.

Friday Fun (Slow down you go too fast)

    KellyTheWebGal

It’s getting to be that time of year when everyone starts to think about who is going to host the big Thanksgiving feast. Some folks, like me, are already trying to organize their Christmas gift list. As I was recently reminded, it’s important to slow down, relax and take time to enjoy the things that your daily schedule might not allow. My challenge to you as you jump into the holiday season is to slow down and think about all that God has blessed you with. Forget about your to do list, break out your favorite novelty sweater, sit back and enjoy the holidays. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, what are you thankful for this year?

    Fall Festival Fun!

    KelliGreen

Fall Festival is fast approaching! One of my daughter’s favorite parts of Fall Festival is petting the animals (trying not to get sheep fur on her lollipop).

Recently, we had a Pig Roast to celebrate Father’s Day. But sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words. How would you caption this photo?

Do you have all your ducks in a row? Messiah Village has made some new feathered friends. Residents and staff have enjoyed watching them hatch and grow over the past couple months.

What do you think the caption should say for this photo?

    Friday Fun – Video Fun

    NateTheTech

No doubt if you’ve been reading our blog for awhile, you will notice that Emerson has been writing about the principles of a democratic organization.

When the announcement of Messiah Village’s award by WorldBlu, we threw a little party to celebrate and we decided to ask a few employees what they thought.

We put a little video together and we hope you enjoy it. Click here for the video
